Gabrielle Landman, LCSW
When my oldest was four, a simple “get dressed” turned into a full standoff — him refusing, me pleading, both of us overwhelmed.
In that moment, I realized I didn’t know how to stay calm while he was falling apart.
Later, it hit me that my emotions were driving the whole interaction, and I simply didn’t have the skills I needed.
That realization pushed me to study emotional regulation, trauma, attachment, and practical, evidence-based tools that actually work with real kids.
As I applied these skills, I began to feel more confident and empowered--and lees guilty. I saw how many other moms were struggling with the same mix of love, pressure, and guilt.
That’s why I created The Peaceful Parenting Solution™ — to give mothers the tools I desperately needed when I was a young mom.
